SX | SAMPLE MACHINE

Find a sample, shape it, sequence it, drag it out. SX is the sample brain that lives in your DAW.

Playsway SX

What it is

SX is a VST/AU sample machine: library browser, waveform editor, one-shot and loop playback, grooves, and pattern sequencing — built for how producers actually work in Logic, Ableton, Cubase, FL, and the rest.

You pick a sound, tune pitch and tone, flip grooves, then drag the result straight into your project. No bouncing through five windows to get a hit into the arrangement.

How it works

  1. 01Load your folders or sign into Community. Browse like a crate — folders, favorites, collections.
  2. 02Select a sample. Shape it with pitch, envelope, and tone. Flip one-shot or loop. Run grooves and patterns when it needs rhythm.
  3. 03Drag the sample (or a rendered pattern loop) into your DAW timeline. Keep working.

Inside the machine

  • Library browser

Ableton-style folder tree, search, favorites, and collections — scoped to the folder you’re in, not the whole disk.

  • Waveform + shape

See the hit. Shape pitch, attack, decay, sustain, release, cutoff, resonance, and drive without leaving the plugin.

  • One-shot & loop

Hits stay one-shots. Loops stretch to project tempo. Warp modes for how you want them to feel.

  • Groove engine

Pattern grids, swing, density, velocity — flip variations and save your own grooves.

  • Drag to DAW

Export the raw sample or a rendered pattern loop and drop it on the timeline.

  • Cloud-ready

Sign in, pull Community packs when you want them, publish when you’re ready — optional, not the point of the machine.

SX is the sample machine. Download it, open it in your DAW, and start pulling hits into the session.
